I'm still missing few bits and pieces:
a) project level SLA definition (e.g. pickup-time, time to resolve,
escalation time etc.) - we are using Ontime for over a year and it would help
us a lot to have it included
b) customization call-backs (e.g. how to customize priority calculation based on
2 custom fields (urgency and impact)?) There are numerous stored procedures which
are used by Ontime clients for updating the incidents, but I'm not sure if the
best way is to mnodify them. It would be great if such stored procedure would
"call" customisable "empty" stored procedure at its end, where we could include
 our customizations.
c) it would be perfect if it would be possible to configure "add-only" access to the
Description, Notes, Replication procredures and Resolution fields. That would
mean that ontime user or customer portal user will not be able to modify
text already entered by previous user (essential for helpdesk) and system will
only add timestamp + entered text.

This looks like it will be a fantastic update! I have been waiting for color coding and the automatic updating of actual time worked when work log entries are added and I can't wait to try the email enhancements. Maybe this will be the update that will allow us to finally change over and use OnTime for customer support.

Keep up the good work!

Still patiently waiting for the ability to enter time as a start and stop feature so we can move from an in-house product to OnTime. It seems like an easy thing to add but we have been waiting for over 2 years...

Graham, the upgrade itself is probably less than 10 minutes, and generally speaking the default configuration for new features is acceptable. However, we recommend side-by-side installation of a major new release for experimental purposes. I went ahead and replied to your post to elaborate on that.

Mike, with respect to inline email attachments, we definitely recognize that it would be more ideal to have the attachments show up inline rather than in the attachments tab. We are looking into doing this for a future release. No dates as of yet.

Will the new Email tab show attachments inline with the text and not remove them as it does today, this is a very very buig headace for us as it's a massive pain to try and match the attachment to the place it was within the email.

Great new features. Thanks AxoSoft.

BUT, it's not a 10 minute upgrade. Please read my post here http://community.axosoft.com/forums/thread/15846.aspx

OnTime needs tools that allow you to confifure the new release and then migrate data in seperate steps.

Thanks!
