The OnTime Suite consists of several files. You'll learn which executables are required to install various components of OnTime and any documentation and sample code bundled in the .zip archive.

There are a few steps you'll have to take to correctly set up an OnTime database. This walk-through will help make this as painless as possible. An instance of Microsoft SQL or SQL Express is required (see Video 3).

In this segment, we'll cover installing the Windows client and the Microsoft Visual Studio Plug-in, along with connecting these clients to your OnTime database.

Here's what you'll need to know in order to install the Web Client, Customer Portal, and Remote Server. You will need to have IIS (see Video 4) correctly configured on your web server before installing any of these OnTime components.
