OnTime Customer Portal

Customer Portal quite simply provides a quick, dynamic and cost-effective link between you and your customers. It provides your customers with the ability to report defects and feature requests instantly. They can initiate a support ticket as well.

It's for your customers.

Let your customers feel like they're part of the process, by actually making them part of the process. Through the portal, your customers can even vote on which items they feel are most important. You can look at this data granularly or aggregately.

We've got security covered.

You are in control of what your customers can see, report, and request. By default, the items you track in your OnTime database are not visible in the OnTime Customer Portal. You entirely control the access level of your customers.

Remote Server

The OnTime Remote Server gives hosted customers the ability to use the rich Windows client against their hosted OnTime database.

Great for OnTime Installed customers, too:

No Need for VPN. With the OnTime Remote Server connecting to a database is as simple as typing a URL. You can keep the robust functionality of the OnTime Windows or VS.NET clients without VPN headaches and slow-downs. Remote Server acts as a liaison between OnTime and the SQL Server behind your corporate firewall.


Much faster than VPN.

OnTime Windows and VS.NET clients have the optional ability to connect to an OnTime Database through an OnTime Remote Server using Web Services (as opposed to connecting directly to SQL Server).

More options, more flexibility.

OnTime Remote Server provides a web-service based mechanism for accessing the OnTime database through HTTPS.

Email notifications.

OnTime Remote Server also handles email notifications so that individual OnTime clients do not need access to an SMTP server.


TortoiseSVN Plugin

The Tortoise plug-in offers true integration between your Tortoise Subversion code repository and OnTime.

While you and your team are updating files and committing changes using TortoiseSVN, you'll be able to link those files to defects, features, incidents or tasks within OnTime. This takes place right inside of the Tortoise interface without having to launch OnTime.
