Is the OnTime iPhone Client safe and secure?

Yes. The OnTime iPhone Client communicates with the OnTime database (hosted or locally installed) with the same or similar data encryption technology used by banking iPhone apps.

What do I need to use the OnTime iPhone Client?

An installation of OnTime Web V9.1 or higher and the appropriate OnTime iPhone Server license. You'll also need an iPhone or an iPod Touch running OS 2.2 or higher.

Can I test the OnTime iPhone Client before purchasing the server license for all of my users?

Yes. All editions of OnTime (Express, Professional, and Enterprise) version 9.1 and higher include free iPhone client access for the built-in admin user.

We use OnTime Now! hosted...can we use OnTime on our iPhones?

Yes. After you have purchased the OnTime iPhone Server, your users will simply point the OnTime iPhone Client to the same URL you use to access OnTime, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

We use an installed version of OnTime...can we use OnTime on our iPhones?

Yes. You must have OnTime for Web installed, though. If your users are already accessing OnTime within their web browsers, you're all set. If you are only using the Windows and/or Visual Studio clients, you will have to install OnTime web locally, before continuing.

We have OnTime Web installed locally, now what?

Simply point the OnTime iPhone Client to the same URL you use to access OnTime in your web browser. Then, supply your login credentials and follow the on-screen instructions.

When we purchase the OnTime iPhone Server, how many of our users will be able to access OnTime via the iPhone?

All of them. You only need to purchase the OnTime iPhone Server once, in order to enable the OnTime iPhone Client for all of your users.

What if I don't want all of my user to have access to OnTime with their iPhone?

You can grant or restrict access to the OnTime iPhone Client from within OnTime's security settings.
